History of the RMC '70 Intake Group:

In '70, approximately 130 Puteras enrolled into the Cawangan Putera (Boys' Wing) of the College. They vividly remember the Newboy (freshie) year because of the rigorous military schedule, and the equally rigorous ragging meted upon Newboys.

Some had left the College after completing the Fifth Form mainly to join the Military as Officers, but also on scholarship overseas, and to join local tertiary
education Colleges. Others stayed on in order to complete the Sixth Form, and find themselves places in Universities &
Colleges, both local and overseas.

The '70 Intake batch had a gathering in '95, and most turned up to meet with each other and to remember mates not met for long.

In '00, a bunch of our batchmates, active members of the Old Putera Association convened a email newsgroup. After the
initial inertia, the group gathered momentum and todate stands at approximately 70.

The group felt that it was high time, we constructed our Site in Cyberspace in order to allow the community and the
universal citizens of Cyberspace to find us. Importantly too, those mates who we still are to trace.
