Recent Events 
Here are pictures taken at the Lunch hosted by Ahmad Ali in his house (narration below0. No, that's not a Bedouin ritual the women are doing, but just a camera trick. The gestures may be incomprehensible though.
Hi Guys,
Another round of makan done. Thanks to Boms who made the reservation
and part-sponsor the lunch. Being good batchmates, we do not want him
to fully sponsor the lunch. So we passed the " bread basket" around.
All in, 14 batchmates, 5 other OPs, Datuk Che Md Noh and Cikgu Mat
Derawi came to grace the occasion.

Raja Azlan (80) and OP KC (83). Anis and Raja came to say hello. Thay
had makan somewhere else earlier.
As usual the topics of the day were unlimited. Food was something to
come back again for; Rajinder was the testimony. Despite going to India
frequently (where the cuisine we tasted came from), he confessed that
the ones at Boms' are no match. He showed the way.
CA came face to face with his arch-rival Rajinder for the first time in
many years . Knowing that he would not get the votes from the
batchmates, he went straight (unilaterally) to Cikgu Mat Derawi for
arbitration. Being a good Cikgu he is, he decided that each one has his
own special traits. Hence both are the winners. We'll drink a toast to
that.
We left the place wondering how to keep awake for the rest of the day.
For the next rendezvous, let CA or NM announce it in the coming edition.

Dear CA,
FYI, 10 Batchmates came. We left at about 4.30 pm. All well fed.
Talked about everything and about our AJ's achievement and
accomplishment; the Official Ironman for RMC. The second drawcard was
of course our Raj Singh. He looks more handsome than you, now.
The 10 very fortunate Batchmates to savour the lunch were:
Ahmad Jauhari (AJ), ARBK (+wife), KJ (+wife), Syed Mahmor, Amiruddin
Abu, Jo Bux, Megat, NM, Raj Singh and yours truly.

Majlis Buka Puasa held at Subang Sheraton on 5/12/01 was attended by
seven batchmates and two young ladies.
The Magnificent Seven were: Abd Rahman Kassim (H), Nordin Manan (C),
Maslan Abdullah (C), Abu Hassan Johan (G), Mustaza Mohamad E), Megat
Abdullah (G) and yours truly (B).
After a stopover at Abas' (D) place, the three (NM, IM and Abas) went to
Hilton PJ to meet WAS for another round of business talk. Unfortunately
the two young ladies did not follow. They had earlier left with mba.
The details will be submitted by NM as agreed.

MBA's.....had coffee/cakes at Abbas's house....the wife was to undergo
medical treatment today...wished her luck and our prayers were with
her.....met WAS at PJ Hilton....three bangles were handed over to IM,NM and
Abbas....WAS distributed some excellent kurma...thank you WAS...just ate
some...lot of jawing at PJ Hilton...left at 'round 1.15 am...we must do this
more often....!!!!....bit more participation would have been
welcome......!!!!!........NM
OPA Majlis Berbuka Puasa at OPA Building on Sunday, 2nd December 2001.
Abu Hassan was there along with KJ, Ibrahim Mohamed and myself. Ramli Ibrahim, 69 G Coy, joined us at our class table along with his son. Subra 71 H Coy, also joined us.
The Majlis was attended by approximately 100 - mainly senior members. The President was present along with Past President OP Muslim Ayob, and former Chief of Armed Forces, Tan Sri General Borhan.
The Majlis had said Maghrib and Esha prayers, held a Tahlil and then proceeded to complete Terawikh prayers.

AN INTERESTING EVENING WITH SENIORS
Dear Batchmates....spent last night with some of our seniors.....Tham Yew
Kong....100m hurdles...record holder...66 intake....and some of his
batch-mates....Datuk Azman/Datuk Shamsul Falak.....to cut a long story
short...Tham was down on his luck.....and two of them...set up some
accommodation and discussed some future plans for him.....Tham spent the
last 11 years...in Terengganu in various businesses...what impressed me was
the obvious batch spirit....Datuk Azman...is the landlord of the food outlet
that Ismail Ibrahim [Boms] is supposed to be operating from......in Sri
Hartamas...we were there until approx 1.20 am.....no sight or sound of
him....no Iranian Janda selling nasi lemak...Nordin still wondering about
Boms....!!!!!!!...budak2 b coy 'ni.....memang tak chukup ragging...bloody
lopong........
